Marketing operator
I ship AI into marketing systems that already have to work Monday morning.
Not a commentator. An operator.
I build production workflows for paid media, measurement, content intelligence, and reporting — so lean teams move faster without trading away rigor. The point isn’t the future of AI. It’s the art of the possible right now.
Selected work
Before → system → after
Case studies from work I’ve actually run. Practical systems, not concept decks.
Global reporting: hours to minutes
Rebuilt quarterly digital reporting as a production pipeline so a lean team could deliver decision-ready insight without a multi-week scramble.
AI as the default operating layer
Moved AI out of pilot theater and into planning, creative/content loops, and optimization — with performance accountability attached.
Performance visibility at enterprise scale
Built a health / performance framework that made hundreds of accounts and dozens of markets legible — what works, what’s stalled, where to invest.
Writing & lab
Notes from the operating floor
Essays and field notes on AI in marketing and business automation — grounded in systems already running. Video coming later.
Hours to minutes: what production AI in marketing actually looks like
If your AI program still needs a steering committee to produce a slide, you don’t have an operating system yet. Here’s the difference.
Stop briefing AI. Start operating systems.
Prompts are not a strategy. The teams winning right now treat models like infrastructure inside a repeatable workflow.
About
Operator first. Titles second.
I’m Casey Petersen — a marketing operator with 20+ years across enterprise tech, SaaS, startups, and digital-first growth. I care less about frameworks on slides and more about whether the system still works when the calendar turns over and the budget is real.
At Lenovo, I lead global paid media and analytics work: building in-house capability, AI-enabled optimization and reporting, and performance systems used across hundreds of accounts and dozens of markets. Earlier: digital marketing at Cloudflare; VP / Head of Marketing, Analytics, and Product at Photofy; leadership roles in social commerce and retail digital growth.
This site is my professional home base — a place to show practical work, publish field notes on AI in marketing and automation, and eventually open limited consulting for teams who want production systems, not another pilot.
Photos and richer media coming. For now, the work should do the talking.

Consulting
Limited time for teams who want systems, not theater.
Short engagements on production AI for marketing ops, paid performance systems, measurement repair, and the operating cadence that keeps it all honest. Booking and paid scheduling are next — for now, reach me on LinkedIn and tell me what you’re trying to make real.
